Our BIO based Products
When compounding with other bioplastics (PLA, PBAT or PHA), BioPBS can enhance the properties such as impact strength, improve heat resistance and shorter cycle time. In addition, BioPBS has unique biodegradation properties where customers can design the biodegradation rate of their end products.
BioPBS can be turned into a flexible film for many flexible packaging applications. It can act as a sealant layer inside a packaging structure that can be hermetically sealed at low temperatures on conventional packaging lines. Packaged products will benefit from a longer shelf life due to the great humidity and oxygen barrier.
By simply lining paper with BioPBS, instead of other types of non-biodegradable plastics, will enable them to be compostable either in industrial compost or home compost. BioPBS coated paper is suitable with hot and cold for food and beverages. Moreover, paper and cardboard coated with PBS is 100% repulpable.
PBS can be turned into nonwoven fabric from spunbond, melt spinning and electrospin process where it provides softness, flexibility, good bonding, also compatible well with PLA and good processability using conventional fiber spinning machine with proven thickness ranging from 20 gsm upto 100 gsm.
